February 2023 Intake for Undergraduates: Applications Open

Botswana University of Agriculture and Natural Resources carries out its annual in-service undergraduate student recruitment for the next semester 2 Intake for each Academic Year commencing in November every year. Applications are currently open for the February 2023 intake and it shall be open until the 10th february 2023. Please visit the BUAN DOWNLOAD section on the website to download the full advert with listing of programmes on offer and entry requirements. The application forms and other supporting inforamtion is available as well. You may also visit the individual Faculty pages on the website to view a snapshot of the programmes. The University shall receive applications throigh email "admissions@buan.ac.bw" and at the office at Sebele campus. Applicants are however, advised to use the email option as it is equally effective.

Our office is available during working hours to assist customers through the contact numbers provided on the advert and through email (admissions@buan.ac.bw), you are encouraged to send your enquiries through these platforms.

NB: This intake caters for in-service applicants who have University qualifications and they qualify for exemptions from some courses, applications for this intake normally opens from the month of November each year. This intake also caters for students who qualify to apply for re-admission and re-instatement.

Applications are currently open for the February 2022 intake for graduate programmes and it shall be open until the 18th February 2023. STUDENT WELFARE

The Student Welfare Office is mandated to improve the student experience in the university. The office handles student’s accommodation services, reception of new students, student leadership development, management of residence life and the general welfare of students at the university. We ensure that as a student you have a conducive living and learning environment.

We can help with the following:

  • Assist with the registration and enrolment process
  • Provide information, guidance and resolution on financial enquiries and provide information on financial aid options
  • Provide assistance and production of academic documents  
  • Assist with enquiries on all elements of the student record
  • Support with appointment diagnosis and appointment bookings with services
  • Guidance and information on how to access and use all Student Services resources and how to understand University procedures
  • Support and information to assist with welfare issues
