The Food Science Technology department held a stakeholder workshop at travel lodge on the 19th march 2019, Under the theme "Networking for a better education, research, diversified production and manufacturing to achieving sustainable food
and nutrition." This was a day’s workshop with approximately 80 participants from different stakeholder organizations.
The objective of the workshop was to bring together stakeholders in the area of food science and technology, in a forum that would allow networking and collaboration in areas of student training, research, consultancy and manufacturing. The participants shared information on their activities and accomplishments as specialists in the field and BUAN effectively deliberate on how best the institution would serve the academia, industry, research organizations and NGOs.
