Proposals are requested from local and international (Individuals, Companies, Partnerships, Associations, Joint Ventures, Trusts, Syndicates, Societies) bidders within the meat packing industry (slaughtering, processing, packaging and distribution) to invest and operate the multi-species red meat abattoir and its supporting assets within the BUAN Meat Industry Training Institute (MITI) Complex for a period of ten (10) years. The business model is a structured Public Private Partnership between the successful bidder and the investment company of the University, namely BUAN Enterprises (Pty) Ltd.
