Coming to BUAN might be your first time living away from where you grew up. Whatever you choose, you will find a range of safe welcoming and friendly options for accommodation. We have five hundred and forty-four (544) beds on campus. Each applicant who wishes to stay on-campus must submit an application for accommodation immediately upon receiving their admission and they will be notified about the outcome of their application well in time before the commencement of the semester.
Most of the accommodation is on sharing basis, but both male and female students have different blocks. There are a few hostel blocks which collectively can accommodate one hundred and eighty-two (182) students on a non-sharing basis. Each of the blocks has a common room where the students can relax and watch TV or play one of the several in-door sporting activities. There is also a laundry with several washing machines for students under the care of the Student Representative Council (SRC). Some of the hostel blocks have wardens’ flats attached to them, which house some Resident Assistants. The Resident Assistants have their initial substantive jobs but have volunteered to assist in the student welfare services. It is an extension of the Director, Academic and Student Affairs' office to provide accommodation and other services to students and they stay on campus near the hostels such that they may attend to the general student needs.
