My research is mainly focused on both phenotypic and genetic characterization of   our indigenous domestic animal genetic resources (Tswana cattle, Tswana sheep, Tswana goats, Tswana pigs and Tswana chicken) and Botswana’s wild animal genetic resources (Lions, Wild pigs, Wild Guinea fowls and Warthogs).  The main objective being to generate baseline diversity data for future monitoring of diversity trends
under the anticipated climatic changes.
