"On behalf of staff, I have the great pleasure to welcome you to the Department of Agricultural Education and Agricultural Extension and Rural Development located in the Faculty of Agri-Business, Education and Extension, Botswana University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (BUAN), Gaborone. The Department offers BSc. and MSc (Agricultural Education), Diploma, B.Sc. (Agricultural Extension); and currently working assiduously on PhD (Agricultural Education), MSc and PhD (Agricultural Extension).The Department was one of those that were newly created after the transformation of former Botswana College of Agriculture into BUAN with the main aim of producing graduates with appropriate practical knowledge and skills in the field of Agricultural Education, Extension and Rural development. The Department has seasoned academics that are highly competent and specialize in various aspects of Agricultural Education, Agricultural Extension and Rural Development with a tradition of good relationship with students and are always eager to assist students through a very sound advisory system."
