Professor Rejoice Tsheko is an Agricultural/ Biosystems Engineer by training. With over 30 scientific publications in International recognized journals, and 24 years in the university system, Prof. Tsheko is a seasoned lecturer and researcher. Previously, Prof. Tsheko has led the Department of Agricultural Engineering and Land Planning as a Head of Department (2001 to 2007), he developed new academic programs and developed research themes and initiated collaboration with the industry. Prof. Tsheko has led numerous international research project. 

 In additional, Prof. Tsheko has also served on various Boards including, BITRI, Botswana Telecommunication CorporationLimited, a P1.5B turnover business. During his tenure this former parastatal was privatized and listed in the Botswana Stock Exchange thus making it the first and only one Government entity to privatize.
